For all the matcha queens and kings, this is a place that you need to try. Like all the reviews, their matcha isn’t overpowering. There is a balance between earthy mixture to sweet creamy palates. Their mochi balls are delightful and mix well with their matcha counterpart. I recommend getting number 26. Overall, great place and I hope this shop is here to stay in a very competitive area.

Tucked just steps away from the bus station, Daigyo Canada was a cozy little gem — a beautiful spot where Japanese tea tradition met Toronto’s café scene in the warmest way. Their spring feature focused on Houjicha, a toasted Japanese green tea known for its earthy, nutty aroma, low caffeine content, and smooth, comforting flavour. The Premium Houjicha Soft Serve was a seasonal delight — creamy, lightly sweet, and infused with that signature roasted tea aroma. It captured the essence of Houjicha in dessert form, and every bite felt like a soft exhale on a sunny day. The Premium Houjicha Latte offered slow-sipping comfort with deep, mellow flavours. It had that kind of toasty warmth that instantly grounded you — the perfect companion to a quiet afternoon or thoughtful conversation. The Brown Sugar Soy Premium Houjicha Latte delivered a slightly sweeter experience, with the rich syrup balancing beautifully against the earthiness of the tea. I always come here for the matcha soft serve, it’s super yummy and has that rich matcha flavor. Their matcha latte is great too, not too sweet and really smooth. They’ve got a bunch of other matcha desserts that look amazing, so I’ll definitely be back to try more

The yuzu matcha soft serve from Daigyo is super creamy and rich without being overly sweet—it's got a great balance between the earthy matcha and the creamy sweetness. The matcha itself is really tasty. The service is great, and the vibe of the place is really chill. Just a heads up, though—seating is pretty limited inside, and you might have to wait in line.

Daigyo Cafe is where you can find some of the best tasting matcha, matcha drinks and desserts in Scarborough and the GTA! Their matcha is always premium and the delicacies they make with them are equally as delicious. The staff here are also so kind and remember faces of regulars! We got a whole slew of things to try: a Matcha Mousse Cake, an Iced Matcha Latte with soft serve on top, Matcha soft serve, and a White Peach & Jasmine Tea. Everything was luscious, smooth, and refreshing. All of the desserts were so yummy and their matcha has just the right balance of sweet and bitter. If you’re a matcha lover (like me!), you gotta go here! Just be aware that there’s limited space and seating inside, and there may be lines.

I went to Daigyo Café in Scarborough, located in a busy plaza with lots of parking, for their Matcha soft serve—and now I’m obsessed! The texture was super smooth, not overly sweet, with just the right hint of bitterness—absolutely perfect for matcha lovers. The service was wonderful too; the lady who took my order was so kind and welcoming, you could hear the smile in her voice. This place has quickly become my go-to spot for matcha ice cream. I can’t wait to go back and try their Matcha smoothie next!

Amazing matcha desserts and milkshakes! Daigyo matcha desserts are rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced—not too sweet, just right. The matcha milkshake is a must-try: creamy, refreshing, and packed with flavor. Highly recommend for any matcha lover!

Small matcha cafe with a few tables and bar seats. Gets busy during weekends. You can even buy powders and other matcha accessories if you prefer making some at home. I bought the hojicha powder and it’s great. The package can be resealed and I’ve kept it in the fridge after opening. Otherwise, if pretty lazy to diy, I come here and never had problems. The ladies make my drinks awesome each time.
